Abu Bakr Cassim, CEO of Jozi Angels. Abu has seen entrepreneurship from many sides: he grew up in a family business that's 80 years old and was featured in Entrepreneur.com; he runs incubation and acceleration programmes; and established Jozi Angels, an early stage investor network based in Jo'burg. 

Jozi Angels is one of the most active angel investor networks on the continent. They have concluded 15 startup investments across various business sectors over the past three years. Their focus is on early stage disruptive companies which ultimately creates a pipeline for VC investors. 

Prior to this Abu started an online platform connecting startups and investors. It has a footprint across 37 countries. He also has an MBA from IE Business School in Madrid and has lived on three different continents.
