Hubert’s career background focuses mainly in Project management, Global marketing strategy, Banking and Policy advocacy both locally and overseas. Prior to joining FONERWA, Mr Ruzibiza was Head of the Services Development Department for the Rwanda Development Board (RDB). In his capacity, Hubert is behind the implementation process of Rwanda moving into a Services based economy through policy advocacy and investment promotion in the Service sector. He has under his portfolio, Financial Services, Healthcare and BPO industry with for main goal transforming Rwanda into a Hub in each those subsectors. While pushing for a more integrated framework for Trade in Services both at regional and international level, he is also pioneering the legal reforms in making Rwanda a destination for Fund Management, Private Equity and Medical tourism. His work is always emphasized on a common approach to his organization, which is to make Rwanda h aving the best investment climate in the continent. Hubert is a Board of Director of the Rwanda University Teaching Hospital and is always committed about making a positive impact in Africa; he was selected as a Tutu fellow 2014 and was nominated as new leader for tomorrow at the Crans Montana Forum 2015. He holds a Bachelor in International Business & Finance from the Fox School of business, Temple University Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, a Master 1 in International Management from CEFAM, Lyon, France and completing an Executive Master of Arts in International Affairs at the Fletcher School of law and Diplomacy, Tufts University Medford, MA.
