Jason Spindler is the CEO and Global Managing Director of I-DEV International, a management strategy and financial advisory firm which focuses on building competitive, viable businesses & industries at the base of the pyramid. Jason has more than a decade of experience advising global investors, multinational corporations, SMEs, and governments and is recognized as one of the leading practitioners in emerging markets business and investment strategy.

Prior to starting I-DEV, Jason worked in finance as a part of Salomon Smith Barney/ Citigroup’s Debt Capital Markets Group, where his team evaluated and structured early stage, high-yield investments in the telecom and technology sectors. He later joined the private equity arm of the operations-focused turnaround and restructuring firm, AlixPartners, where he was part of the team that analyzed, acquired and managed the firm’s turnaround investments. Jason received his J.D. from New York University School of Law where he focused on social enterprise, fund formation and investing in frontier emerging markets. He did his undergraduate studies at the University of Texas at Austin with joint degrees in International Finance and Emerging Markets Economics.
