Makeda Mahadeo is a Kigali-based, Rwandan-Jamaican media personality, DJ and content creator, Makeda, produced and presented the popular radio show, The SWiTCH for 5 years, co-anchored and co-produced the the groundbreaking breakfast television show, Rise and Shine Rwanda, and holds the honour of being the first female DJ in Rwanda. 

Now, with a passion for culture, travel, music and storytelling, this media maven is focused on contributing to a more positive and diverse narrative of the heart of Africa through her Youtube channel, Contact Makeda.
