Rory is an innovation pioneer who has always been fascinated with reinvention. He has extensive corporate and entrepreneurial experience in driving the innovation agenda and understands the unique challenges in operating in these two very different environments.

He is currently the Innovation Director of Accenture South Africa and adjunct faculty at GIBS, Duke and Henley where he lectures on innovation. He is able to rigorously combine academic principles with real world experience.

Rory has a patent for inventing and commercializing an innovation platform that is unique in its ability to combine business, technology and innovation through a collaborative and social interface.

He has successfully implemented many innovation initiatives with a strong focus on collaboration and harnessing the power of the crowd, which is a more appropriate approach to innovation in today’s modern world. Rory seeks to activate the untapped wealth of knowledge that resides within an organization's idea-sharing and problem-solving network.
