AIS Foundation was recently registered in Cabo Verde as a non-profit charity with an esteemed Board of Trustees, with the goal to contribute to ensuring a life of dignity for all Africans by promoting and advocating for the emergence of robust innovation ecosystems in African countries.

AIS is a pioneering initiative focused on fostering innovation, driving socio-economic development, and promoting structural transformation across the African continent. One of its key initiatives is the Africa Innovation Summit, which since its inception in 2012, has brought together prominent leaders, policymakers, experts, and innovators to create meaningful impact and harness the potential of innovation for Africa's future, as well as produce important knowledge products to better understand the emerging national innovation systems in Africa.
